The Coffee Man is Frank Meredith.
Frank established his mobile barista business in September 2014. He fell in love with coffee while in Italy in the early 80’s, working as a truck driver, on the road sampling beans all over the country.
Franks go to blend is a Colombian coffee bean with an Italian roast, the best of both worlds.
With little to no work for truck drivers in 2008, Frank set out on a mission. He retrained as a barista/coffee perfectionist and achieved a level 5 qualification in kitchen management and food hygiene. Moving on to a “Start your own business” course with the Westmeath Enterprise Board, The Coffee Man was born.
As a husband and wife team, Frank and Jane developed a menu of both coffee and food for a diverse and growing customer base.
Franks love of Irish draft horses drove him to take the business mobile! With a van he could bring his coffee and food to different shows and events.
Frank successfully secured contracts for Irish Harness Racing and Portmarnock Race Meets. The Coffee Man van can be seen feeding people at various shoes around the country, like the Wicklow Ploughing competitions, Kilmacanogue Agri Show, The Moate Agri Show and many more.
The Coffee Man is available for evening shows, festivals, shows and more.
